Capacity Strengthening programme

The secondary TIGR2ESS programme includes a capacity strengthening programme of academic exchanges between the Uk and India:

  • A total of 40 PIs from UK and India will be given the opportunity to undertake exchange visits to deliver seminars and forge new research programmes,
  • The programme also includes opportunities for 20 PDRA/PhD exchanges from the UK to India for 1 month, and 20 six-month exchanges for PDRA/PhD candidates from India to have extensive  research training and integration with the UK MOU institutions NIAB, Rothamsted Research, the John Innes Centre, the University of East Anglia and the University of Cambridge.
