TIGR2ESS: Transforming India's Green Revolution by Research and Empowerment for Sustainable food Supplies

A Global Challenges Research Fund project

Women from the Mobile Teaching Kitchen in Kolkata

Please note that, following advice from the Festivals team about hands on activities, this event has unfortunately been cancelled. We hope to reschedule for later in 2020.

As part of this year's Cambridge Science Festival, we are hosting an interactive demo of collaborator NNEdPro's Mobile Teaching Kitchen initiative, which forms part of Flagship Project 6's work on Impacting Wellbeing in Rural and Urban Communities. Join us to experience what a community-led food revolution looks like.

Book your free place via the Cambridge Science Festival website from 11am on Monday 10 February.

India faces many challenges in improving food security. Obvious issues like drought are intertwined with a complex socio-economic landscape. Community-led education is one way to overcome these challenges. Visit our Mobile Teaching Kitchen and taste one possible vision of India’s food future.
