Biography

Dr. Bhanjdeo currently works as a Researcher in the Research and Advocacy unit in Professional Assistance for Development Action (PRADAN) (2019 - present). She completed her PhD as a ACIAR-John Allwright Fellow from Charles Sturt University, Australia. Her PhD focused on understanding the context of evaluation of complex multi-stakeholder projects from multiple perspectives and building new knowledge on a more integrative evaluation. Prior to starting her PhD in 2016, Arundhita worked as a Research Analyst (2013 - 2016) in an Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) project which was working on enhancing livelihoods of small-scale farmers on the East India Plateau. 

Currently, she is involved with the TIGR2ESS project under Flagship Project 1 on building Sustainable and Transformative Agrarian and Rural Trajectories as a PDRA. Her interest lies in collaborative research with a special emphasis on engaging with grassroots voices in shaping the research and development agenda. Primarily working on themes such as migration and sustainable food systems in the programme, she is studying diverse perspectives of understanding these developmental challenges to improve policies, perspectives and practices.
