Biography

Dr Tomás Harrington is Associate Professor in Digitalisation and Operations Management within the Innovation, Technology and Operations Management Group at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia (UEA). Prior to joining the Faculty of Social Sciences at UEA in August 2017, Tomás spent eight years at the University of Cambridge, Institute for Manufacturing (IfM).

Tomás is a Co-Investigator on the TIGR2ESS programme. As part of Flagship Project 5 (Supply Chains: Modelling Water Use for Sustainable Livelihoods), his research focuses on digitalisation, farmer-producer organisation (FPO) networks, and the promotion of equity and ethical norms as FPOs collectivise and grow (linked to socially responsible supply chain design).
