Biography
A passionate and committed professional with extensive knowledge of research approaches and expertise in participatory action research tools with specialization in policy analysis, monitoring and evaluation studies in the domains of agriculture and food systems, environment, health, and rural and urban governance.

Research
Dr. Kaur is working as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Panjab University, Chandigarh as the part of FP6 Team – FP6a aims for Education, Food, Nutrition and Empowerment (EFNE) whereas FP6b targets Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Empowerment (4Es). Hence, to achieve EFNE and 4 Es, she has been working in close and continuous association with rural communities as part of nutrition and kitchen garden teams. Previously, she had worked in various projects funded by governmental and research agencies, from evaluation of wheat procurement to storage operations to food security. Apart from this, she had studied the healthcare infrastructure for cancer patients in cotton belt of Punjab. Moreover, she studied the local governance of waste systems in Punjab State during her PhD.
